  Just had a breakaway system installed on our caravan today. We have our van set up for free camping. Quotes around ballarat varied from $450 to $1150 they set up a better system directly to our house battery and sorted out some brake wiring for $200. It's a great experience to talk to someone that knows what they are doing and have a passion about there work as well as honesty and ethics. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

  Back Story & Details:
  My partner and I, are backpacking around Australia and decided to buy and convert a 2005 Kia Pregio.
  We needed our solar panels, invertor, lights and auxiliary battery wired and fitted as we couldn't do this ourselves.
  We aren't living far from Ballarat and so spent a day receiving quotes from 4 different auto electricians- all of which sent us estimates which were frankly extortionate and way over our small budget.
  
  We essentially gave up on having solar fitted but then we found Pete by chance and after reading another excellent review popped by to get an estimate for the work we needed.
  
  When I got there, Pete was so friendly and helpful. He was completely honest about everything we would need and explained all the electrical work in a way that was easy for us (with no electrical experience) to understand and happily answered all my (many) questions.
  
  I went back to see Pete and he fit us in the following week. The work was done in a day, to an excellent standard and before I left with our pimped out van; Pete made sure to let me know to call if we had any worries, questions or needed help with anything to do with the van.
